Evergreen Community Charter School was selected as one of 10 new solar schools to receive a grant from the Earth Day Network. This Green School Solar Grant enabled Thermacraft to install 12 Schott 220 watt modules on the schools roof. We installed a Sunny Boy inverter and tied the system into an existing Sunny Portal from a previous solar installation at the school. We were lucky to be part of the schools Earth Day Event, where we taught the students about solar energy, and Flipped the Switch.
